In June 2013, lab members Matt Savoca and Sarah Jennings teamed up with the Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary to organize and lead an NSF-sponsored workshop for teachers at the Oakland Museum of California entitled Winged Ambassadors: Ocean Literacy Through the Eyes of Albatross.
